The MorningBlues SonicGlass A1 is now live on Kickstarter, and it is not trying to look like a normal home speaker. In its official PRNewswire announcement, MorningBlues calls it a dual-transparent lyric speaker. The pitch combines a clear acoustic structure, real-time lyric visuals, and AI-generated music videos.
The pitch is simple: music should be something you can watch as much as hear. The A1 pairs a clear enclosure with a transparent acoustic driver. That turns the speaker into a design object instead of another black box on a shelf.
A speaker built to be seen
MorningBlues says the SonicGlass A1 exposes acoustic hardware normally hidden inside traditional speakers. The company positions that design as part audio gear and part spatial centerpiece. That makes sense for a product built around lyrics, motion, and display effects.
Transparent driver, real lyric display
The acoustic side is built around a transparent glass driver and a Schott glass diaphragm. MorningBlues also mentions a high-rigidity acoustic structure and a neodymium magnetic system. The goal is better clarity and lower distortion without hiding the design.
The visual side is where the SonicGlass A1 gets more unusual. Its lyric display syncs words to the beat. It can also adapt the look of those lyrics to different music genres. MorningBlues says the system can generate cinematic music videos that match the style and mood of the track being played.
Kickstarter pricing and the bigger play
The Kickstarter campaign starts with super early-bird pricing listed at $649. MorningBlues says that is 35 percent below the planned retail price. The company is also building around the Music Hub 1 accessory, a touchscreen controller meant to keep playback away from your phone.
It is an ambitious idea for a speaker because the A1 is selling a living-room experience, not just audio specs. It also fits a wider push to turn music platforms into visual experiences, something we have also seen around Spotify’s newer fan-focused features. If the transparent driver and lyric visuals work as promised, MorningBlues could have one of the more distinctive Kickstarter audio products of the year.
As always with crowdfunding hardware, buyers should pay close attention before backing. Delivery timing, final specs, and campaign updates matter just as much as the launch video.
